Setliff & Holland again ranked one of America’s “Best Law Firms”

(November 2011)  RICHMOND, VA - Setliff & Holland, P.C., has received top rankings in the 2011-2012 “Best Law Firms” publication, produced by U.S. News Media Group, the nation's leading source of rankings, and Best Lawyers, the leading survey of lawyers worldwide. The rankings, which are presented in tiers, showcase 9,633 different law firms ranked nationally in one or more of 75 major legal practice areas and in metropolitan or state rankings in one or more of 119 major legal practice areas.  

Setliff & Holland was recognized nationally as a Tier 2 law firm for Transportation Law. In the metropolitan rankings, the Richmond office was recognized in three tiers – Tier 1 for Transportation Law, Tier 2 for Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law, and Litigation – Eminent Domain & Condemnation, and Tier 3 for Litigation – Real Estate. The Annapolis office was recognized with a Tier 1 ranking for Railroad Law. Achieving a high ranking is a special distinction that signals a unique combination of excellence and breadth of expertise.

To rank law firms in the "Best Law Firms" guide, the publishers evaluate law firms across the United States using a wide range of objective data as well as individual assessments from private practice lawyers, clients, and law firm employees. Every Fortune 100 company and more than 500 of the Fortune 1000 companies responded to the survey.
