Ms. Feehan is an experienced legal and business counsel with extensive in-house and private practice experience. Her strengths include legal and business analysis, management of litigation teams and outside counsel, risk assessment, policy development and implementation.
Ms. Feehan has provided first chair management of complex litigation in state and federal courts in Virginia and the District of Columbia, and in the defense of products liability and toxic tort cases. In addition, Ms. Feehan has extensive in-house experience in commercial and consumer bank litigation, including supervising outside counsel and litigating securities arbitrations.
Ms. Feehan presides as a licensed arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA, formerly NASD) over disputes between investors, brokers, and securities firms.

Successful representation of corporate defendant in Eastern District of Virginia, and again on appeal before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, in two toxic tort cases seeking $4 million for personal injuries.
Defended bank in three related cases, all of which resulted in dismissals in favor of bank, in the Eastern District of Virginia, the District Court for the District of Columbia, and state court, seeking over $9 million dollars in damages based on theories of fraud, breach of contract, violation of implied covenants of good faith and fair dealing, unjust enrichment, and negligence. Also, successfully represented bank on appeal to Fourth Circuit of Virginia, upholding the client’s victories.
Successfully argued in papers before the Eastern District of Virginia and Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals for loss payee on auto policies, asserting that insurers’ refusal to pay claims for loss of insured trucks in fire was breach of contract.
